Hi,
When will another King's Quest come out. It's been more or less a year since Sierra has made any adventure games. Please keep making the games. King's Quest VIII was great and I can't wait for number IX!

Kings Quest 8 isnt that great of a game. there are few puzzles, just hack and slash action. its more like duke nukem than kings quest. sure, it has good graphics, but id rather have a good ole' original kings quest game

i think that king's quest VIII totally sux. it's so gloomy and it looks like they really tried to hard and got a crappy job done. king's quest VI and VII were far prettier (and i must mention that KQ7 certainly doesn't deserve 2's...at least 4's). they actually had color and a nice story behind it. it was a game for almost all ages, now it's more for guyz and leans towards the adult side.

I don't like the look of the new King's Quest 8. I refuse to buy it because it is NOTHING like the type of game I like. I LIKED kings quest because it wasn't like all of those games like tomb rader etc. PLEASE go back to the old style with the old characters, make one with Cassima. I am anoyed with this new version and want KQ9 to be in the old style PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!!

I don't know who wrote your KQ8 (MOE) review, but that person is on *CRACK*. First of all, the story line was OK, but the game was not a kings quest. It was a quest for glory. It deserves 2's across the board, not 5's. There was a reason Kings Quest had no combat. It's an adventure game, not a stupid RPG/Combat. This was the WORST kings quest to date. I can't believe you gave it such high marks. I thought this was an adventure gaming site? Fix that review or I'm not even going to bother coming back here. Seesh....

Mask of Eternity the best King's Quest game to date? I hardly think so. In fact, I abandoned the game completely, after getting tired of just visiting empty hallways and whacking the crap out of dull, unintelligent skeletons. All of that took place in the Underworld, the most uninteresting place ever created for an adventure game.
I find the plot weak and the dialogues plain bad.
The 3d-engine is great, no doubts about that, but what about the content? the puzzles? All of the great adventure elements? Well, maybe they're past the second world, but then again, those 2 first worlds didn't keep me interested enough to go on.

In a time when actions games and first-persons shooters are 95% of what's out there, WHY would someone take something as great as King's Quest and turn it into a mindless point-and-kill kind of game??
3D revolution? Ok, that's fair. But when Roberta Williams wanted to make a horror game she went and made Phantasmagoria. She didn't have King Graham possessed by the devil and murdering the whole royal family. Which leads me to another point: must we suffer the image of King Graham turned from a mighty adventurer to a jolly Santa Claus-like fat man? Not that I have anything against Santa, but things are the way things are.

Ok. I just wanted to say all of that 'cause I think I'm the only one who didn't like the game. So there it goes. A bad review for a change.
