Excellent

ONE OF THE BEST ADVENTURE GAMES I'VE EVER PLAYED !!!
And I played a lot of 'em. Reminds me of Dark seed on Amiga 500, but Phantasmagoria offers higher standards.
Creepy story, beautiful graphics and fantastic ambient are a recipe for MEGAHIT !

There is no game till this day that transformed such a creepy ambient as it did Phantasmagoria.

Back in 1996, I, along with two friends, sat in front of my brothers computer NON-STOP for 41 hours playing the game. We smoked like three cartons of cigarettes, and took all bathroom breaks together. We all smelled like ass by the time we finished the game but it was well worth the thrill. I had nightmares for weeks and have to say that the game was far from easy. Awesome game!

I played the unrated version when I was twelve and I still have nightmares about the ways his wives died. I didn't know there was a rated edition, and seeing Adrianne get raped isn't good for a kid. Much later I checked the bottom of the game pack and realized it was meant for people over 18. But then again, no one REALLY follows those age limits.
The game in itself was awfully scary but also very easy - even for a 12-year-old. Too bad Adrianne's husband was such a bad actor though A was alright... The house looked grat though, but I always got lost there...

What a fun game, best one I ever played. Other games could learn from this one. Shame you and others don't have better imagination rather than running around shooting horrible graphics monster than scare NO ONE and are pathtic looking

This game was intruiging, exciting, and enjoyable. I personally enjoyed he depth and detail of the storyline. When playing this game, it is helpful and feels more like your in the game if you look up special surprises and extra nifty videos on Universal Hints System. Complaints about blood and gore are truly uneccesary, because Phantasmagoria can censor this for you. Overall, this was an excellent game.

I find your lack of vision apalling. I found the game plenty hard, especially the chase between the demon and Adrienne. I don't know how many times I tried to click on the pipe and instead the girl jumped into the pit and died.

Hi i would just like to say i have had the Phantasmagoria 1 game since it 1st came out all those years ago, and i have still got it and still to this day i still get a bit scared playing the final cd the final chapter and im 23. I think this game is one of the best horror games of all time, Roberta Williams did a fantastic job puting the game together. As for the acting, it was very good ok so the actors and actresses wouldnt get an Academy Award for there acting but they where still brilliant non the less overall i would give this game 4 out of 5 stars a brilliant game with brilliant sounds. The haunted house was amazing really gave it that scarey feeling bout it, and it also had a fantastic story line.

Hi.......Well I enjoyed playing this, (couldn't get past the 5th disc though because the computer wouldn't accept it)..but I enjoyed what I could play of it. Just wish I could have finished it. Of course it isn't going to be "perfect" with smoothness of acting; etc.........people seem to forget that this is just Technology and machines providing opportunities to game play. It was fun., Thanks

i don't give a fuck what any of you say, this game was the shit...screw the lack of "any difficult puzzle", the game kicks ass without it, and its one of the best games ive ever played.
