Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle is the sequel to the classic adventure Maniac Mansion. Manic Mansion tells the tale of a mad doctor possessed by a meteor from outer space. The game combines cartoon like animations with humorous dialogs that poke fun of popular pop culture. This sequel is no exception.

Hello again,

I'd like to correct mr Jong on one thing only. I bought the diskette version of Day of the tentacle. Mr Jong comments that the 'enhanced' CD-rom featured the first installment (Maniac Mansion). This is not correct. The diskette version had it too... I was delighted to be able to play it aswell (without the need of emulating it for the commodore 64!).

Otherwise I can not agree more with the reviewer: this game is a true classic.
