Blue Belly can cause conundrums, so I understand the situation with him and the sewers. One possible solution is when you get control of Blue Belly, return to town and leave the boat to get a rope. Then go through the gate of town and tie the rope you took around a tree root. Use that on the beehive to distract the guards. Next go to the wedding and take all the mints. You will end up back at the tavern.
On the right side of the tavern, talk to some people about a job and keep talking until you find out that your father is waiting for a delivery. Ask your father about it. Go back to town and enter the sewers. This should work for Blue Belly to go into the sewers. Good luck!

Im enjoying the game too but like Steph I cant get Blue Beard to go down the sewer! Ive talked to everyone about the Rum. There is No Dayey the barman for me either.
Ive also read walkthroughs but everyone else does not seem to have problems....HELP!

I have read the comments about Blue Belly's not wanting to go inot the sewers (Typical of him, I must say). A solution to that would let Blue Belly make a practice run in hitting the window. Also look at everything in the governor's mansion, you may have missed something. Unless you look all around, the game will not progress further until you do. That also goes for talking with anyone you meet. I found that out as I played for the review. I hope this helps.

As far as i remember, you just enter the sewers. He change to ghost-form and enters.

Maybe you need first to talk to everybody and find out about the underground jail and all? To give him a motive to go down there.

Help! I'm stuck on Blue Belly I can't get him to go down the sewers. I've got as far as getting the note written from Jane to trick Murial. The game talks about Davey the barman but I can't find him.
I hope someone can help me as I'm enjoying the game.
